Gatava
IDS first became involved in Belarus in 1996. Vladimir Bukanov is one of the pastors of the New Covenant Reformed Baptist Church in Gatava (also known as “the church on the hill.”) Vladimir has faithfully led a local family of believers as well as reaching out to a number of churches all over Belarus. Each year IDS does conferences both in Gatava and other locations in Belarus.

Comanesti
For many years IDS has also been involved in teaching in the country of Romania. Conferences are put on in the Baptist Church in Comanesti of which Adrian Barzu is the pastor as well as capital city of Bucharest.

Prague
Pavel and Klare Steiger are missionaries in Prague. They produce biblical programs for radio, publish a theological magazine, put on a yearly theological conference and teach bible studies. I frequently teach in the Czech Republic and consider Pavel and Klara very dear friends.
