IDS of the Carolinas

My name is Brad Woodlief. My wife, Michelle, and I live in Greenville, NC (home of East Carolina University) with our four children: Connor, Mallory-Kate, Blake, and Charissa. Michelle and I both met Geoff Volker in college while we were on a mission trip in Minsk, Belarus. Since that time we have benefited tremendously from his ministry. I am excited to be partnering with him through IDS, equipping believers around the world. I hold a BA in Nursing from ECU (1999) and a MA in Theological Studies from Liberty Theological Seminary (2016). Along with my role on IDS staff, I am also planting a church in Greenville called Tar River Fellowship.

Living in a college town, my ministry focus includes a focus on international college students and young adults. College students come to East Carolina and Pitt Community College from all over the world. My prayer is that these international students will believe the gospel, become equipped in biblical theology, communicate the foundational doctrines of Christianity effectively, and become trained to use their gifts to effectively reach others in their home countries.

My role with IDS also includes resourcing Christians who want to grow in their theological development through: discipleship, speaking opportunities, skype meetings, and writing bible study material. We partner with local churches and ministries internationally to equip pastors, campus ministries, and lay leaders. As a result, these churches are effectively reaching their communities, sending missionaries, and planting churches globally. My prayer for our ministry is the same as Paul’s in Ephesians 3:17-19: “that you being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
